Continuity of Learning (Remote Education)

 

At Kirkstall Valley Primary School, we are committed to ensuring that learning continues, even when the school building is closed.

In the rare event of an unexpected closure (for example, due to severe weather or emergency maintenance) or if a child is unable to attend school for a prolonged medical reason but is well enough to learn, we will move to remote provision.

• Our Platform: We use Google Classroom to share resources, set tasks, and provide feedback.

• Curriculum Alignment: Work set will align as closely as possible with what would have been taught in class, ensuring children do not fall behind in their learning journey.

• Access: Login details for Google Classroom are provided to all pupils at the start of the academic year. If you require support with devices or internet access during a closure, please contact the school office.
