Welcome message and Ethos
Welcome to Year 2! We’re excited for Year 2 to be filled with curiosity, growth, and joyful learning. Together, we will use Courage to try new ideas as we use our mistakes as a tool for deeper learning opportunities, show Compassion by caring for our friends applying our Mindmate and PSHE knowledge and skills, and build Commitment as we develop our skills day by day in preparation for Key Stage 2. We look forward to working with you and your children to make this a happy, confident, and successful year.
PE Days: Tuesday and Friday
Library / Book day change: Thursday/Thursday reading books come in, Friday new ones go home.
Homework Routine: Spellings are sent home on Monday and tested the following Monday.
Essential Items to Bring: Water bottle, coat, reading book, named school jumper/cardigan
