How I got to Leeds

A little while ago I was speaking to my mum about my family history. I was shocked to learn that my great granddad came to England in 1961. This is a story of retired solider from Pakistan who brought us to Leeds and why he chose Leeds.

My great grandad came to Leeds in 1961. His first job was in the Pakistan army then he retired. He came to England in his 40s. He also moved to Leeds because he got a job here.

My grandad came to England. Then he went back to get married. Then they came back again. Then a few years later my mum was born. After, my mum and dad got married.

I was born on January 24th. I am 11 years old. My hobbies are football and cricket. I am half Pakistani and half English. My mum is Pakistani and my dad is English. I live in Headingley with my family, it is a nice place to live. I live in the city Leeds and my county is Yorkshire.
